Please join us in congratulating Sofia Aguas, Natalie Buere, and Guadalupe Tadeo for their outstanding achievements in the Congressional Art Competition! These talented HHS students earned all three top places in the contest!
A special congratulations goes to Sofia Aguas, whose winning artwork will be displayed in the halls of the U.S. Capitol Building in Washington, D.C., for an entire year. Sofia also received two tickets to Washington, D.C. to visit her artwork in person.

Each spring, the Congressional Art Competition celebrates the creativity of high school students across the nation. I’m thrilled to announce the 2025 winners from California’s 23rd District, selected by our expert panel of judges. Their talent reflects the bright future of the arts in our community.


The CTE department will be here next week distributing stoles for the Seniors who have completed their CTE requirements this year. Come to the stage at lunch on Wednesday, May 21 to get yours!

Tonight, a few students from our HHS Advanced Business class presented the City of Hesperia with a check for $2000.00 to be used at the animal shelter. Way to go Scorpions! 🦂🖤💛





Today, athletes Berlynn Miramontes and Paulo Valdez were recognized as the CBAADA Outstanding Athletes of the Year for their AMAZING accomplishments with Girls Basketball and Boys Wrestling! 💛 In addition, Aniah Harris was selected out of all senior athletes in the Citrus Belt Area to receive a $750 scholarship! 🖤 We are so proud of the 3 of you for representing Hesperia High School so well! 🦂 #ScorpionsStrivingForExcellence

Huge congratulations to Roberto Michel, Hesperia High’s Digital Design CTE Student of the Year and an inspiring young leader! He represented us proudly at the 2025 MDCP Pathways, leads as President of the Digital Design Club and captain of Cross Country, won the Misc Category at our HHS Talent Show, and earned a $4,000 scholarship from the Oro Grande Foundation. Overcoming every challenge with determination and grace, Roberto proves that hard work and heart go a long way. HHS students and the CTE construction department had the opportunity to attend the VVC Industrial Technology field trip to learn about the various trades that are offered at Victor Valley College such as Welding, Auto, Construction, and Technology. Special thanks to VVC and MDCP for hosting our students!

Congratulations to our Fire Tech students who participated in the FLIP Competition this weekend! Mr. Bisbee's fourteen person fire tech team went down to Fontana high and participated in the physical agility comp against eight other teams. They finished third place out of nine and only missed first by four points! They competed against both Law enforcement Explorer posts as well as one other fire tech program. We're so proud of our students and Mr. Bisbee for all their hard work!
